Getting geared up for Christmas

I have finally finished most of my christmas shopping (have a few more odd's and end's to get) and we decided to decorate the house this past weekend, while Benjamin napped. It was a lot of fun, and when Benjamin woke up, and saw the tree etc., his eyes grew wide and he said "It's christmas time!!! Christmas brings lots of toys!!" ha ha ha We are still not sure where he got the 2nd part, maybe he has been sneaking peeks into my bedroom. (where we are hiding all the toys!! lol)

The tree (we decided no ornaments this year due to a little person wanting to tug on the tree all the time...so better safe than sorry. We did decorate it with bows though, and I am really liking how it turned out) Maybe we will pull out the REAL ornaments next year. ;)

I'll update a picture of the front of the house later on, as we are still finishing up a few things that were damaged in the storm. (gutters/facial board etc) And we haven't decided if we are going to put lights up this year (outside) or not.
