Tick or Treating 2009
Benjamin enjoying a Halloween Cookie wearing my witch hat. lol
We went REAL trick or treating this year vs. the 4-5 houses we visited last year. :) Ben had a blast, and struggled to keep up with the other kids. lol But he didn't seem bothered by being a little slow. I personally think that was plan. lol. He would walk up to a house all by himself, say trick or treat, and then after the person put the candy in his pumpkin, he just continued to stand there and look cute. This of course, prompted people to give him more candy. LOL Silly Boy!! It was really cute how excited he was. He got so excited that people were putting candy in his pumpkin, that he didn't even make it back down the person's driveway, before announcing what kind of candy he received. lol
Unfortunately, Mike had to work until 11pm tonight. So he wasn't able to join us in trick or treating. Mike's sister Lea, and her family, graciously let Ben and I come with them trick or treating. Check out everyone's costume's. So cool!!
Benjamin in his Thomas The Train costume!!! (Toot! Toot!)
My nephew, Nick showing off his vampire skills. (Raaaawwwwrrrr!!!)
Two buddies!! Benjamin could not stop looking at Nick's vampire make-up.
A picture of the whole gang!! Chloe was a devil, Zack was a vampire, Nick was a vampire, and Ben was Thomas the Train.
To start the night out, we stopped at a local Trick or Trunk (I had never heard of these before. Apparently, this is when a group of people will get together, and decorate their cars/trucks for halloween. They, then, pick a local public place's parking lot, and hand out candy for the kids. It's all organized, and roped off, so you don't have to worry about cars etc. I think next year I will be on the look out for more trick or trunks. :)
This was a cool decked out ambulance. Very cool! Ben even got to walk into the ambulance. He is still talking about this part. lol
Ben showing off some of his candy!!
Trying to keep up!! LOL
Chloe was so sweet to come back and trick or treat with Ben (since we were really, really slow. LOL)
Benjamin (taking advanatage)....umm..I mean riding on his #1 Aunt Lea's shoulders!! lol She was more than happy to carry him, and he was more than happy to ask her if she was going to carry him as soon as he walked back from getting candy. lol
This is how Ben reacted after every house! He thought it was just so cool people were giving him candy...house, after house. :)
After a long night of fun, Ben was tucked into bed, and asleep by 10:00pm (ouch!) And so was I!!!LOL
